I am actually a friend of "Jane Doe #1" from the PeTA nonsense petition. I have been told that there is proof that PeTA took her comments out of context and did some "editing", including changing words, in the comments they included in the petition. I haven't seen the proof, so I'm just repeating this as something I've been told by two friends who have copies of the original comments.
One thing I have verified. The NYC lawyer who filed the petition, Michael Lee Hertzberg, has another infamous client-the Church of Scientology.
